The campground does not have on site sewerage available except for 4 or 5 sites directly behind the office and these are nose to back sites. The front of our motor home was within 5 feet of the rear of the motor home in front of us. They were not pull thrus unless you were the first one in line. Plenty of open campsite in the rest of the campground, but without sewerage. The campground does NOT have a dump station. I would not stay here again.
Nice campground. Spread out over a large area. No one to guide you to site. Numbering of the sites is not the greatest I've seen. Shuttle into the park is easy to get, and the only way to see Bryce Canyon. Staff was friendly, but rushed. I would stay here again. Of course, if you are going to visit Bryce Canyon its the only place to stay.
This was possibly the worst camp site I have ever stayed at. It was getting late in the evening and we saw this campground in the trailer life directory and thought we would give it a try. High grass around the water and sewer connections, in fact high grass all over. All back in's and my 34 ft motor home barely made it in. Not a good place to stay. Would not recommend any one stay here. It should be taken out of the directory.
Campground is situated on top of a hill. Office is located halfway up the hill and camp sites are located on top. Many permenant type campers, some with really junkie site's. One way in and out for mtr homes because you will scrape bottom on the way out. Friendly individual in office. Would not recommend this campground.
Not a bad campground for the money. I'm not sure it would be worth the higher rate for the in season. The camp site we had was not close to being level. Many permanent camp sites. Over all a decent camp ground. I would return.
The campground is a very nice campground, paved roads throughout and the sites were level. The shuttle system to Bar Harbor and Arcadia is outstanding and free. The only downside to this campground is they do not accept credit or debit cards, cash only.
After staying at Haines Junction this campground was a god send. Green grass, clean, quiet, friendly staff, clean restrooms, clean showers, level sites, able to walk to town. It was great. If anyone spent any time camping in Alaska and did not appreciate this camp ground, something is wrong with them.
This is a dirt campground with tight sites. But the owner, is very knowledgeable about the conditions on the AlCan highway and every campsite within 200 miles of Watson Lake. He also owns the fast food restaurant across the street. Close to a grocery store and the sign post display. Restrooms and showers were very clean, Laundry room was also clean. I would recommed this campsite. We stayed in a motor home.
